Applesauce Inn Bed and Breakfast Northern Michigan is located in the heart of northern Michigan’s most scenic and popular tourist area. Just a 10 minute drive from beautiful Torch Lake or Downtown Bellaire and 35 minutes north of Traverse City. Our central location is the perfect place for couples or families who want to explore Mackinac Island or Sleeping Bear Dunes.
With the beautiful Chain of Lakes: a beautiful seventy-five mile-long waterway consisting of fourteen lakes and connecting rivers, right in our backyard, the Applesauce Inn Bed and Breakfast, Northern Michigan Lodging is also an outdoor enthusiasts dream.
We are open year round so you can enjoy skiing, fat bike riding, hiking, kayaking, bird watching or fishing, and you can do it all within minutes of the bed and breakfast.
The Applesauce Inn Bed and Breakfast offers charming, cozy rooms and guest spaces for your relaxation and enjoyment. All areas feature original wood floors, woodwork and trim and unique vintage farmhouse decor.
Our traditional High Tea is inspired by Anna, the Duchess of Bedford! Enjoy a 3-tiered service of tea sandwiches, home made scones with jam and a tray of hand made treats....served with pots of Lady Earl Grey Tea!
$35.00 per person. We offer 2 ways to enjoy tea here at the B&B. FOR OUR GUESTS: As an add-on package. Check into your room and then join us for Tea and Tasty treats. Available Monday-Thursday 3-4pm. $35.00 per guest, please add note to your reservation. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: High Tea is offered every Wednesday, January-April, by reservation only. Fresh Made Breakfasts
Greet each morning with our scratch made farm to table breakfasts that feature seasonal and local ingredients (including eggs from our own chickens and garden produce from our back yard and local farm shares). Our breakfasts have become something of a legend, you surely do not want to miss!
Returning this May...... Come home each evening to home made dessert and a glass of Traverse City local wine or locally made Ciders (May-Oct).
