I love cookbooks…..and I love to plan our breakfast menus in advance based on the seasons and what is in season!
Here at the Applesauce Inn B&B, we pride ourselves on using as many local fresh ingredients as we can….our very own eggs from our “girls”, veggies and herbs from our own organic gardens, and fruits from area farmers such as Providence Farms,
Bluestem Farms and Flynn Orchards as well as from our local farmers markets.
To compliment those awesome ingredients, we are going to do a “Cookbook Series 2015” spring and summer menu.
Mario Batali’s newest cookbook “America~Farm to Table” features lots of amazing recipes with an Italian flare, while Jacques Pepin and Hillary Davis’ cookbooks are more to the French side.
We have created menus using recipes from each of these books and are looking forward to spoiling you!
Our “Cookbook Series 2015” breakfast menus will begin May1st, and continue until the end of August~
